Back-up Power for Palestine Hospital

Project scope

Previously, we announced our partnership with this Palestinian Energy Company. With the help of the customer, we have helped supply an AP1250S Containerised Perkins Powered Alpha Series Generator paired with a Stamford alternator for a hospital in Palestine.

Providing emergency backup generators for the healthcare industry is one of the most important things we do at Constant Power Solutions. Having a 24/7 emergency backup power system in place at hospitals and healthcare facilities can literally mean the difference between life and death. Our experience allows us to provide a backup power system to meet the ongoing demands of modern healthcare facilities throughout the UK, and beyond – in this case in Palestine.

The need for generators in the healthcare market is one of absolute importance. Whether it is a storm or a general blackout, people need to be assured that the hospital will be able to sustain power and get it from an alternative source.

GENERATOR DETAILS

Within conversations with the client, we discovered that certain countries and regions have a preference on engine brand and alternator brands, which was the reason for the Perkins engine to be paired with the Stamford alternator on this occasion. Lead time was also key as well as meeting the needs and requirements of the project for the hospital.

We began work on the container instantly, inviting the customer to the factory to discuss the progress on the project. It also menat that they could see their generator being built! This 40ft container consisted of a Perkins 4012-46TWG2A Engine and Stamford alternator. Control Panel brand Deepsea with an Internal Fuel tank with connection points for external and internal filling options, featuring an internal light for servicing.

This project was a high brow project in Palestine with serveral bidders using competitor products. We had to ensure that our product met all the strict design work. As well as that the overall value was within the tender documents value.

One of the main reasons why this client works with CPS is that our products are UK Made. All our components are UK or of european origin. UK Products are well sought out in Palestine due to quality.
